If your 35mm slides are gathering dust in a closet somewhere, consider transferring them into high quality digital files to view on your TV or turn into prints. Not only will you have a much more useful copy of your picture, it will be restored (as much as possible) to its original color and quality. Many slides deteriorate, get dusty or experience dramatic color shifts, as shown below.

One flat rate: $0.75 per slide - includes cleaning, scanning and color correction. Then we transfer your digital files onto CDs ($3.00 each) or a DVD ($8.00).

About the scanner: We use the Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 with ICE technology that automatically removes scratches and helps us restore color balance and saturation. In addition we view each scan and make adjustments by hand.

What you get: We will turn your slides into digital 8 bit TIFF files that are 2500 pixels/inch, viewable on a computer or on newer DVD players. This flexible type of file is more than sufficient for preservation and printing purposes. We provide other formats upon request.
